The Foundation for a Resilient Montpelier is a new, action-oriented organization established to create a healthy and resilient city through facilitating democratic engagement, supporting community-led initiatives, and gathering and distributing resources. The new organization was born from the merger of the Montpelier Foundation and the Montpelier Commission for Recovery and Resilience.

A New Day for Montpelier - Meeting 2 on June 4th

Help drive forward positive actions for Montpelier’s future!

On April 30, Montpelier residents gathered to share their ideas on civic engagement, community resilience, and the health of our downtown. Notes were taken in each session, and all of the ideas shared will be compiled into a list of potential areas for action. On June 4th, the community is invited to talk about those ideas, learn who in the community is already carrying some of them, and do some prioritizing.
